Charlotte Marriott City Center Wedding | Sydel & Damion
It was such a pleasure to plan Sydel & Damion’s destination wedding in Sydel’s hometown of Charlotte, NC! Sydel and Damion are the most upbeat and fun-loving couple and they knew they wanted to host a fun weekend showing their friends and family various parts of Charlotte that were significant to Sydel’s childhood. They kicked off their weekend with an intimate rehearsal dinner inside the wine room of Del Frisco’s Steak House where Sydel used to work. It was a night full of great wine, great food, tears and a ton of laughter as almost everyone around the table made a special toast to the bride and groom.Their wedding day was exquisite. Luxe Marie really set the tone with a custom metallic foiled pressed invitation suite that were perfectly tied with a black satin-bow. Sydel walked down the aisle with a Pnina from Kleinfled and Damion sported a custom suit from It’s Goode and the cutest custom loafers with their two dogs faces from Del Toro. They were married at Sydel’s home church, Central Church of God where the two exchanged the sweetest vows! Following the ceremony, guests made their way to Marriott City Center to enjoy cocktail hour where they found their names on gold acrylic name tags. After the cocktail hour, guests made their way into the most spectacular ballroom. CLux did an amazing job creating a timeless look with low and lush centerpieces, amazing white draping and a lush ceiling treatment over the dance floor that was filled with a dozen chandeliers. Luxe Marie created matching custom gold acrylic menus that were adored with the same black satin tie that had everyone’s individual names. Their sweetheart table sitting in front were filled with stunning white rose and hydrangeas that spilled over to the dance floor. Even their 8ft cake from WOW Factor was just impeccable! After an intimate first dance and plethora of toasts by family and friends, DJZ really got the party going by spinning all of Sydel and Damion’s favorite tracks. The party ended almost 3 hours later than planned because no one wanted to leave! It was definitely a night to remember. Elysium did a fantastic job getting all the dancing footage! Cheers to Mr and Mrs. Damion Lee, you two are the real deal and we are so honored to have planned your weekend!
