Private Home Newport Coast | Sherry's Baby Shower
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in a blush pink carriage! Everything about this shower was so girly princess, cute was our word of the day! We could not stop saying how CUTE everything was! Planning this shower with Sherry and her mother was such a blast, and definitely a different experience than most! Sherry lives out of state, so we planned the whole shower over FaceTime and email! Lucky for us, we had a great team of vendors to help bring the day together seamlessly! Shawna Yamamoto and her team did a fabulous job with the decor, how much do you adore those oversize ruffled and floral umbrellas? Too cute! It was the little details that really brought this shower together! I love the custom tulle tutu and ballerina bow chair treatments for our rose gold chairs! And what is a ballerina princess baby shower without a real ballerina serving our signature blushing ballerina cocktail?! Good Gracious and their team went above and beyond to make the food and service exquisite! One of my favorite parts of this shower was the dessert station, our focal point. Shawna Yamamoto and her team created a pink sequin backdrop for all of the beautiful desserts carefully handmade by Cakes by Rumy. They are all so cute and were real too! What's better than adorable and delicious?! I could not get over how precious the baby bootie sugar cookies were! Bravo, Rumy! A baby shower just is not the same without a few games and activities! When guests arrived, they were able to guess "How Big is Sherry's Baby Bump?" As you can see, Sherry is a tiny and cute pregnant woman! Another activity was to create a headband or hair clip for Sherry's baby! And at the end of the shower, the winner of the cutest headband or hair clip was announced! And now Sherry has plenty of headbands and hair clips for the new baby, and they were handmade by all her closest family and friends, so personal and sweet. Sherry, congratulations on your baby! I know she will be a very happy and loved little girl.
