Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & club Wedding | Amanda + Cyrus

This wedding at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort had us falling in love with white wash wood everywhere and flower filled green hedges for days … it really was a wedding that blew us away when we saw all the details come together on the day of. We created a traditional Sofreh but with a modern feel using lots of mirror, glass and elevations. The Pacific Ocean was our backdrop and photos down at the beach were quick golf cart ride away. The tabletops had beautiful leaf charger plates, garden greens and white blooms along with two tiers of gold pears.

When Brandon Kidd sent us the photos we melted into our chairs as we relived it all over again. It was the perfect August wedding, where we didn’t need heaters. Amanda and Cyrus guest’s had dinner under the stars where tuxes and long gowns worked day and night. I love a tall cake, although only 4 tiers, the the double stacked made it look grand. Guests departed with personalized treats; vanilla macaron, shortbread cookie, truffle and mini tart.
