Planning this amazing baby shower for Gayle King’s daughter, Kirby, during COVID took more than a wink and a smile … working around all the mandates, closures, social distance parameters, etc has been something Details, Details has committed to being our best at … just like everything else we do for weddings and social events, this is no different … sometimes the policies change day to day, and so we make sure to be in the know about any ‘road blocks’ that might come our way before an event and wedding so we are taking the best care of our clients :)

With Kirby’s incredible weekend baby shower celebrations, we wanted the mom to be and her guests to feel not one ‘minute’ of a pandemic … we wanted them to be together, celebrating, without having to worry about the ‘world right now’ and we feel it was a total success! Hostess with the Hostess Gayle left no detail overlooked from the best swag bag anyone can get upon arrival.

The baby shower started off in the morning with outdoor yoga. Mats were set out Seaview lawn at Montage Laguna Beach. Lots of coastal wind and breathtaking views of the ocean. Leading into a beautiful sky blue shower celebration with one of the sweetest ‘gift opening’ backdrops we’ve ever seen created by Bloombox Designs.… Baby shower games, keepsake alphabet book and the cutest signage were all created by Luxe Marie. A delicate sugar umbrella adorned a decadent chocolate cake with salted caramel created by Intricakes. The weekend concluded with a sound bath to send everyone home with a calm washing over them.
