Alex & Graham | Beverly Hills Hotel
Alex and Graham met at a friend’s wedding and eventually they became engaged at that same wedding location. Opting for a classic wedding theme with pops of color, the couple fell in love with The Beverly Hills Hotel’s classy, unique personality. We loved partnering with Bloom Box designs on bringing this sweet couple’s vision to life! Alex is an interior designer so the couple went with a nontraditional color scheme, keeping most details black and white to spotlight the vibrant peonies displayed. Beverly Hills Hotel staff greeted guests with wine in front of a jungle wall and neon sign, which also served as a photo moment throughout the rest of the evening. Bridesmaids wore gowns of either solid or polka dot and carried white bouquets with black bows. The ceremony site was breathtaking featuring pink cherry blossom trees flanking the alter with coral charm peonies arranged in tight bundles set in opposing directions. This framed our couple perfectly, it also created a perfect juxtaposition, the modern peonies and classic cherry blossoms. The reception space featured over 5,000 coral charm peonies set in linear rows with all rectangle tables. Guests wore black-tie attire and danced on a glossy black-and-white checkered dance floor. The bright pink peonies flooded the reception and complemented the soft velvet pink of the invitations. The band backdrop was a light display made with modern Edison bulbs encased the West Coast Music team. Alex’s family members always embrace in a giant group hug every time one of them leaves or travels, but Graham had never participated in this tradition before. At the end of the night, as an official member of the family, Graham finally joined the group hug for the first time.
