SLS Hotel | Oscar's 70th Birthday

Oscar is the perfect example of what it means to be young at heart! For his 70th birthday, Oscar and his family really wanted to throw a celebration all the guests would remember, and I was so honored that they asked me to help them plan it. His celebration took place at the gorgeous SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, which provided us an already elegant room to work with. Oscar is such a rockstar, so we decided to make his birthday party a “Disco Party” theme! We chose to stick with a black, red, and silver color palette, using pops of gold throughout the decor to add contrast. Utilizing mirrored surfaces, mini disco balls, floating candles, and red roses, we created a mature, yet fun table arrangement. My favorite part of his party was the awesome DJ booth, created by the talented Shawna Yamamoto. You can’t have a disco party without an amazing DJ booth! It was so great to see Oscar and his family and friends enjoying the celebration. Everyone was so full of energy and definitely knew how to have a good time! This disco party was definitely one that all the guests would remember. Happy birthday, Oscar!
