The Resort at Pelican Hill Wedding | Erin & Steve

It was such a pleasure working with Erin & Steve for their wedding at The Resort at Pelican Hill! As you can see they are a gorgeous couple, but not only are the beautiful on the outside, they are just amazing people on the inside, too. Both Erin and Steve are intelligent, creative, and like to have fun. I think their wedding was a great representation of their personalities, which made a spectacular celebration!When discussing the wedding design, Erin & Steve wanted a wedding that was elegant, had character, and was festive. A little glitz and glam mixed with masculine and timeless touches. They selected Shawna Yamamoto as their designer who was the perfect match with bringing the designs to life! Design elements were also inspired by their love story. Erin & Steve thought it would be neat to have two stylized bars at the wedding reception as a nod to where they first met and where they had their first kiss. A little peek into their memorable Santa Monica hot spots for all their guests traveling to their wedding from out of state. Some additional fun touches at their wedding were their Signature Cocktails, "The Gnomie" and "The Peewee Special", which were named after Erin and Steve's childhood nicknames. Their personal style shined through as Erin was drop dead gorgeous in her Inbal Dror wedding dress (yes the skirt was removable for the sultry reception look change!), and Steve was dapper in his navy tux with coat of arms. All the groomsmen looked sharp and I went crazy over the mis-matched bridesmaid dresses Erin selected for her special ladies.A big shout out to goes to the talented team documenting Erin & Steve's special day! It is a home run having Jasmine & JD of Jasmine Star Photography and Matthew and Inese of Love & You Video capturing all the moments!The party didn't stop with Cowling Band rocking it...literally! After dancing the night away the evening became even more epic with In-N-Out truck outside of Mar Vista Ballroom! A California classic treat enjoyed by all!
