The Resort at Pelican Hill Bat Mitzvah | Tashi
Beachy vibes is what Natasha was wanting for her Bat Mitzvah, and exactly what our amazing team of vendors created for her! The planning process with Natasha & her mom was so fun, we were able to take such the beautiful property of Pelican Hill and design it to be something so unique for their wonderful celebration. As much as I absolutely adore designing weddings at Pelican Hill, it was fun to mix it up and design the space in a completely different way! I love that the message in a bottle invites by Rachel Jane Couture took the guests on a journey for a glimpse into what the event would entail. When guests arrived to their hotel rooms that day, they were greeted by a welcome bag full of beach essentials. Guests arrived and immediately the tone was set with the life guard tower, surf boards, and all things beachy at the entrance. Throughout the Mitzvah we had lounge vignettes courtesy of Found Vintage Rentals (along with all of their other amazing decor & props) that created a casual and comfy vibe. Natasha wanted her friends to feel like they could relax and hang out as if they were at the beach on a sunny day. We took a spin on the beach theme and tailored it to be a little bit more distressed and old fashioned. Found Vintage Rentals brought in old lemonade stands and vintage bars for a relaxed Tommy Bahama kind of vibe. It was indeed a hot day in August, so a Evian and Sunscreen stand was a must! While headed into the ballroom for dinner, guests grabbed their mini adirondack chairs which house a mini surfboard cut out escort card. For the kids lounge, we opted for couches, poufs, and chairs for seating as kids like to get cozy and eat on the couch rather than a table. Kim with Art with Nature did such an amazing job of making the space even more cozy with the touches of floral and greenery all throughout the event. Kim's designs definitely worked hand in hand with Found's pieces for the perfect beach chic look we were going for. As the night went on, the kids activities such as iPhone cases and metallic tattoos opened up and everyone had a blast, including the adults! Thank you for the village of vendors it took to make this event incredible for this wonderful family! Congratulations Tashi!
