Island Hotel Newport Beach Bat Mitzvah | Eliana
Mitzvah's are SO much fun, they allow us to really use our creative side and come up with amazing and innovative themes and designs. They are especially fun because we get to work with wonderful families such as Eliana's family! Eliana is the youngest of 3, and I had the pleasure of planning her older brother and older sister Mitzvah's also! I have formed a true connection with this loving and fun family. Eliana loves the ocean, so for our theme and design concept we came up with centering the event around bubbles and under-water features! Rachel Jane Couture knocked Eliana's invite out of the park... or shall I say out of the water! She created a mini aquarium complete with water and bubbles! Through the aquarium glass you could read the information on a pretty teal plexi glass. Might I add that the invite was sent in a sparkly gold box, love! This lead us to our design meeting with White Lilac, which was nothing short of a blast. Pulling colors, picking different concepts! I love the linen we ended up choosing, an emerald green sequin that gave the ballroom a rich pop of color and sparkle. Mitzvahs are not just for kids, we had a fun adult section which was sectioned off by a beaded drape that you could go through to enter the kid section. Our kid section was complete with cotton candy, donuts, a candy artist, arcade games, and a photo booth just to name a few! Entertainment for the evening was Impulse Band by West Coast Music, who does an incredible job every single time! Our bubble girl and jellyfish girls fit right in with the design! I am so happy I was able to be a part of yet another successful and fun event for this family, can't wait for the next one!
