Next Day Edit of Jessica and Jesse’s wedding

Some of you may have heard of this…Next Day Edit, this is when you can’t wait 4-6 months for your wedding video OR your needs change and you would like to show family and friends who were unable to make it to the wedding a quick glimpse of the day. Here is a wedding a couple weeks ago…photos coming soon. Thanks Elysium Productions for working on this so quickly.

The one you have been asking for…

It’s here…You saw her shower and her sneak peek video clip…and now we have her wedding day photos. Jeannie Le, senior assistant to Details Details was married at St. Catherine’s in Laguna and had her reception at the Hyatt Huntington Beach. If you know Jeannie, you know that she is amazing at assisting brides, sweet, helpful, takes initiative and will carry all 10 bridesmaids purses before sending them down the aisle! She has a great sense of style and knew what she wanted, something timeless, romantic and glamourous (hence the crystal chandeliers) I do have to say that carpeting the ballroom made a huge difference. I don’t believe it is necessary all the time but for a color palette like this, the typical hotel ballroom carpet would have ruined the look. Every invitation, place card and menu card had a touch of bling.  And those bridesmaids dresses with the pockets, so cute…the bows matched the shoes perfectly.  But my favorite were her shoes, ones with the flower bud  (Steve holding them for close up)  And last but not least…she hired the infamous Jose Villa to document the day.

Surprise! Hennessey’s Tavern becomes Redmond’s Bar

I planned thier wedding several summers ago and had the honor of planning a surprise 50th birthday party for John. Carla and I had so much fun and it was tough planning as John could not know why I was calling. But Carla came up with the idea of turning a local bar into a bar that John would love, it had to be an Irish Pub…She had coasters made as Save the Date cards and then a bottle of beer arrived in it’s own wood carrying case as the formal invite. How awesome is that! We changed the signs inside and outside on Patio and added decals to windows, had paper cocktail napkins with the logo, and even changed out the floor mat. (Great keepsake)  Service staff all had Redmond’s bar tanks and tees on! And to top it all off, the birthday cake was a mini version of Redmond’s Bar! The food was also amazing, not your typical fish and chips and greasy finger foods, but Hennessey’s Tavern created a custom menu of grilled filet mignon and fresh fish, rolled sushi, fresh tossed salads, mashed potato bar and the best part I think, the funnel cake station. Had to have one greasy item, right.  Happy Birthday John!  And thanks Lauren Hillary Photography for documenting his surprise and expressions!

Same Day Edit at Estancia

Thanks Julie from Elysium Productions! Photos and story of Claire and Lance are coming soon!

Outside the Box…

Christina and Joedecided that they wanted to get married somewhere that no one had before, and they found the perfect spot - the Orange County Performing Arts Center’s new Segerstrom Hall.  The venue was so beautiful and architectural, Jessica Claire had an amazing time photographing it.  Food was also very important to them, so Patinacreated a custom menu just for their special day.  The wedding was a total success and they were happy that they got to share this experience with their closest friends and family.  And Christina… absolutely breathtaking!

At long last…Diana & Oscar are happily married!

As promised, here are a few images of Diana & Oscar’s beautiful wedding day captured by the talented Victor Sizemore .  After 10 years of courtship, Diana & Oscar finally tied the knot and hosted a celebration at The Langham in Pasadena with over 350 family and friends.  The lively reception was feted by a 10 piece Mariachi band, 10 piece Mexican Band, 10 piece Salsa Band and a DJ.  Needless to say, we didn’t miss a beat on the dancefloor!  Diana and Oscar are such a stylish couple and it definitely transcended through all the beautiful details of their wedding.  Gradations of soft blush to hot pinks and chocolate browns captivated the romantic essence of the evening.  Congrats Oscar & Diana!!!
