Laura and Erik had their wedding at the Montage in Laguna Beach on a gorgeous summer day. The florals and decor consisted of different shades of beige, green, and tangerine creating a calm and cool vibe for their beach wedding. The florals were really colorful and bright and they even had some that looked like sea anemones, as they sat in bark wrapped containers! Nisie’s Enchanted used large pieces of white coral to add to the tablescapes to give that beach vibe without being too over powering. Vibrant floral sat on a taupe ottoman linen with tiny ridges…the texture was great as adding shine wouldn’t have worked. I loved how they attached starfish to things like the name tags for their guests and also their center pieces. Too adorable! I also heart the letterpress Smock invitations! We didn’t add tangerine to it, as we wanted it to be sweet and elegant; the sand and sage green ink colors worked great. Smock does amazing folder invitations perfect for a multiple day wedding invitation.

We are happy to share that Maretha & Andy’s Wedding was featured in The Knot Spring 2012 issue! Maretha & Andy had a gorgeous wedding at the St. Regis Monarch Beach with their ceremony at the Pacific Lawn followed and dreamy reception in the Monarch Ballroom. Maretha picked a soft color palette of pink, yellow, and white to set a romantic mood, which was also very feminine. Event Designer, Sunny with White Lilac, created all the decor and flower arrangements…one of my favorite elements was the wall backdrop behind the sweetheart table of paper flowers inspired by Maretha’s favorite iconic brand, Chanel. Mandie and Vladan had a colorful and intimate wedding with their close family and friends at theSt. Regis Monarch Beach! They had their wedding ceremony outside at the Botanical Garden (one of my favorite ceremony venues at the St. Regis) followed by a fun Dinner Reception inside Club 19. Mandie chose a vibrant color palette of pink, purple and blue, and Nisie withNisie’s Enchanted Florist created the pretty flower arrangements and decor. Shout out to DJ Jeff Holmes for getting the party started,Vidicam Productions for capturing a lovely video, and BB Photography for photographing all the special moments. Congrats Mandie and Vladan…you two make a beautiful couple!

Kiya & Malcolm’s wedding was a great celebration with their family and friends and I loved her color scheme! The bright colors of tangerine orange and royal and lighter shades of blue were fun and fresh, and worked really well with the ambiance at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel. The beautiful flowers and decor were by Nisie’s Enchanted Florist and wedding cinematography was by the talented Elysium Productions. All the paper goods from the wedding programs, escort cards, menu cards and table numbers tied in the colors of the wedding…and were just too fun! Kiya, the moms, and all her Bridesmaids looked dashing with hair and makeup by Berit, Makeup by Berit, and hair by Tiffany Monday. I esepcially was a fan of the Bridesmaids dresses…the bow detail on the back of the dress was adorbs. Thank you to John Hong, with John and Joseph Photography, for these photos that capture the beauty of their wedding. Kiya and Malcolm couldn’t be a better match and it was fun being part of their special day!

Check out Susan and Chung’s Wedding video by Gary from Perfect Fit Studios. He did an amazing job capturing the highlights of Susan and Chung’s sunny October wedding at the Terranea Resort. I love the little messages the Bride and Groom had for each other as they were getting ready for the ceremony. Sooo adorable! Everyone looks like they had such a fun time at the cocktail and wedding receptions. The entire event was filled with smiles and laughter, especially from Susan and Chung! Julia & Ryan make a great couple and we were excited to see their wedding featured as one of the Real Weddings on Junebug Wedding’s Blog! Julia & Ryan wed at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, and had classic yet contemporary wedding ceremony & reception. They picked such a lovely color palette for their wedding of gray, silver, white, cream, and peach. Bloom Box Designs did a great job on their decor and flower arrangements & kudos to their photographer, Roberto Valenzuela for capturing all their romantic details!

Brittany & Jack’s wedding took place at the Montage Laguna Beach in December on a beautiful Sunday afternoon…yes, we are very spoiled here in Southern California with our beautiful winters! Brittany & Jack had their wedding ceremony on the Ocean Lawn, followed by Cocktail Hour on the Pacific Lawn and a Dinner Reception in the Grand Ballroom. Shout out to Fayaz with Bloom Box Designs for creating all the wedding decor and pretty flower arrangements. Their wedding had an overall feel of romance and I think that the candle wall behind the sweetheart table made such a beautiful backdrop for the setting. Thank you Steven with Chiavari Chair Rentals for the draping inside the Grand Ballroom and providing the chiavari chairs. John with Harvard Photography captured the beautiful couple and thanks for sharing some of their photos with us! Looking forward to seeing their wedding video by Robles Video Productions.

Shahed was one of the most relaxed easy going brides I have ever worked with. She had a crazy work schedule so you would think she was be nervous on wedding tasks but she was calm throughout and especially on the wedding day. Her beautiful features and calm demeanor allowed the photographer to take stunning portraits of her. Shahed & Gabriel wed at The Prado at Balboa Park in San Diego and had a lovely Sofreh Ceremony followed by a delicious array of Persian pastries, cookies, and tea. DJ Mike Soltani always knows how to get the party going and Shahed & Gabriel’s guests had fun dancing through out the night! Kathy Wright and company created floral with autumn colors of burnt red, paprika orange, mustard yellow, and olive greens. Even the wedding cake had little flowers in fall colors as it’s sole decoration. The soft candle yellow lighting created a warm atmosphere for the dinner reception and chandeliers really illuminated certain areas of the extremely tall ceiling room. Susan and Chung’s wedding took place at the Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes. Their wedding palette consisted of soft colors of beige, blush, white, pale green and were accented with gold, creating an elegant style for their wedding. Diep with Pretty in Ink created modern clean invitations strictly in ivory black and gold. They had a bright and sunny ceremony on the Catalina Point Lawn with an amazing view of the ocean. The weather couldn’t have been any more ideal for Susan and Chung’s special day! The florals were feminine & lush and I love how the centerpieces were placed in those charming gold vases…well done Shawna Yamamoto Event Design! Gold frames and candles also added a nice sophisticated touch to their reception tables. Their wedding cake fit in so well with their decor and was created by the talented Sunny Lee with Filigree Cakes. Susan and Chung’s wedding reception was filled with loads of energy and fun which fits the Bride and Groom’s personalities perfectly! Everyone had a bunch of fun laughing and showing off their moves on the dance floor. A big thank you to John & Joseph Photography for capturing all of the moments of Susan and Chung’s wedding day! Lindsay and Jon wanted a destination wedding and the Fairmont Santa Monica was the perfect location for the Chicago natives. Lindsay and Jon had an unforgettable wedding with an 180 of their closest family and friends, quite the number for a destination wedding! Carissa with JL Designs did such an amazing job of turning Lindsay’s vision into a reality with two different styles of flower arrangements. The square tables were adorned with all white orchids and smaller monobotanical arrangements of hydrangea, dahlias, reflexed roses, and lisianthus, while the other round tables had larger arrangements with hydrangea, dahlias, and roses. Lindsay wanted her flowers to be all whites, creams, and ivories, but bringing in a splash of color with purple lighting.Lindsay and Jon really focused on their guests and the experience they would have at their one-of-a-kind event. The couple made sure about one thing… That everyone danced and had a good time! Rather than a sit down dinner they decided to do stations so their guests could eat at their leisure. West Coast Music’s Cowling Band made sure to keep the guests dancing until the early hours of the morning. The guests worked up an appetite from dancing all night, and since Lindsay and Jon are from out of the state, there was no question that there had to be In n Out truck, which is always a crowd pleaser! I was truly honored to be apart of the Lindsay and Jon’s special day, and it was a pleasure to work with both of their beautiful families.

A special thank you to Amber with Amber Event Production, who did an unbelievable job with the lighting, draping, and gobo! As well as all the amazing vendors that made this night so special… Vanilla Bake Shop, Elysium Productions, Revelry with their to die for furniture and mirrored table tops, and Samuel Lippke for the beautiful photos!!!
