Everytime I watch Aubrey & Jordan’s video by FortyOneTwenty I catch myself smiling…this couple’s fun-loving personalities really sine through. Julie from Elysium writes: Clarissa & Lance, as you can probably guess from the title, had dated for seven years before they tied the knot at Pelican Hill on 10.30.10! They are one of the sweetest couples ever. I know this for a fact because I actually filmed their proposal when Lance popped the question on 9.9.09. (And by the way, they celebrate their monthly anniversaries on the 9th of every month. How sweet is that??!!!) Their wedding was nothing short of romantic and beautiful and absolutely FULL of love. Their traditional Catholic Ceremony took place at Our Lady Queen of Angels in Newport Beach and then it was off to party at Pelican Hill. And party they did. Clarissa got to wear TWO gorgeous gowns. A Reem Acra and a Monique Lhuillier (and a fabulous pair of Louboutin’s adorned her feet). Shoutoutbooth was there to take some hilarious photos (and fun soundbites from their guests) but Jasmine Star (& JD – gotta give him credit too) were the official photographers on the day and so of course we all had a blast together. You can check out the photos on her blog. Who brought this all together you ask? Jeannie from Details Details did an outstanding job once again (I swear she tries to outdo herself every time) and Ed Libby did a fabulous job with the floral design. Mike Soltani played the tunes… and by playing I really mean mixing (he is a crazy awesome DJ) and he even managed to mix in some George Michael which made me really happy!

Julie from Elysium writes: Kelly and James had a grand celebration at the Montage Resort & Spa in Laguna Beach. Their purple color scheme came together beautifully with floral design by Nisie’s Enchanted Florist who always does an extraordinary job, with Braedon Photography along to capture the day. The couple hit it off with Braedon from the moment they met, they didn’t need to meet with any other photographer. Makeup and hair was done by Makeup By Berit and Tiffany Monday. You can also catch a glimpse of a super cool Guns N’ Roses pinball machine cake!

Jeannie writes: Grooms cake was made by the talented Sunny of Filigree cakes, boy is she good with Grooms cakes! What I love about the SDE is the song they chose, can you guess it? It’s a song you could never name the artist but it’s familiar, “Home” by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zone. YOU must listen to this song. And another love, Jimmy’s beautiful British accent during the vows…something to be said about Brits! Final love, Kelly’s dress for first dance, it’s her original wedding gown but with the bottom half taken off, ummm….party dress!
