Living in Chicago but wedding in Los Angeles….If I didn’t know any better, these could have been taken in Chicago versus downtown LA. Jon Barber, seasoned photographer knows so many places to go, perfect for his clients. My favorite pic is the white stone wall and staircase where only their heads upper body popped up….they had no idea how this photo would turn out, very clever and artistic Jon!

Belinda & Stephen make a gorgeous couple and we wanted to share some of their engagement photos. They planned on doing their engagement photos at Pelican Hill, but leave it to the unpredictable rain which switched up their game plan. The rain died down and Belinda & Stephan decided to continue their photos in an open field. How fun details were the umbrellas? So clever…if you ever get to meet Belinda, she is a sharp cookie! Hilarious too! It was a spontaneous idea that turned out so cute! Shout out to Chenin Boutwell Photography…looking forward to working together on their wedding!

I am fortunate to have such amazing clients with great talents! One of my couples this year, Elise and Chris, put together such a cool Save the Date! I wanted to share their Save the Date as it is a great reflection of the couple and their creativeness. While dating, Chris had filmed various trips that Elise and him had been on, and Elise was able to edit the footage to create the Save the Date DVD. Shout out to the photographers, The Hendershotts, for all the DVD photos, and Elise’s makeup artist, Violeta Meyers, for making Elise picture perfect. Stay tuned for Elise and Chris to tie the knot this Fall! I am looking forward to it!

Angeli & Rishi make a gorgeous couple and it was fun working with Angeli’s family on their engagement party! Angeli & Rishi both have big families and it was fun to bring their family and friends together in honor of their engagement. There was so much eye candy at the party with all the beautiful saris worn by the women. All the different colors and intricate details were just stunning…loved the jewelry, too!

Guests enjoyed meeting for a cocktails and mingling on the entry level of the house and then moved downstairs for dinner and dancing (and boy this group knows how to dance)! Everyone enjoyed yummy Indian food catered by Manohar with Delhi Palace…I couldn’t resist the fresh made naan! Shout out to Steve and Harry with The Black Napkin for being the awesome serving and bar tending staff for the evening! Also, thank you to Melissa with Belle Amie Photography for sharing the engagement photos! I am looking forward to their wedding this summer!
