Janice and Bolaji, Arthouse Video

Julie from Elyisum Productions writes: Janice and Bolaji had a gorgeous coastal ceremony and a beautifully modern reception (check out the amazing white swag) at the Montage Resort & Spa and Joe Latter’s fabulous photographs can be found here. Enjoy!

Jeannie- Watching this video reminded me how pretty their ballroom was, with the white carpet and the decal dance floor.  And forgot about those Nigerian hats, loved those…Janice is also our nutritionist blogger.   She is so— fit, do you see her shoulders and arms.  What an attractive couple they are….. sweet, gracious and humble.  Miss you guys!

Simple Elegance in Autumn

It was such a joy to see James & Pailin celebrate their marriage vows at the St. Regis this past fall.  It was a lovely wedding and anyone could tell how happy James & Pailin were to be husband and wife.  It always seems that the Bride makes all the decisions in the planning process, but not for this couple.  James was so hands on in the wedding process; he wanted everything to be just perfect and relaxing for his new Bride.  The talented, Sunny at White Lilac, created the beautiful arrangments and photos were captured by Paul Thompson at the Huntington House.

Jennifer’s Inspiration

Jennifer & Steve got married at the Pelican Hill Resort and used their great sense of style to help create a beautiful wedding. The inspiration for the decor of the wedding was all from one of my favorite things…Jennifer’s shoes! The gorgeous Christian Louboutin shoes captured the look and feel of the wedding. As you can tell from the photos, the florals tied in perfectly with Jennifer’s shoes. I loved the color palette of Victorian lilac and soft romantic colors created by White Lilac Inc. The reception had the just right amount of vintage touches. Jennifer is a clothing designer and you can see that she has superb taste! Thanks to Megan for capturing the photos!

St. Regis, First Annual Wedding Showcase

St. Regis hosted their first Annual showcase last weekend and we were invited to meet brides and join in on a tour of all the ceremony locations and ballrooms. Many vendors contributed to creating beautiful table tops. I especially wanted to point out the gorgeous dresses by Erin Cole located on Costa Mesa modeled by St. Regis staff. And the latest and greatest new linens from Wildflower Linens in various rooms. The pink table was just scrumptious with the flowers from Nisie’s Enchanted Florist and the hand painted linens were from Wildflower Linens. Just lovely!

Kellan and Brandon Same Day Edit, Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel

Julie from Elysium Productions writes: I’m so glad I finally have a chance to blog this SDE!!! Kellan & Brandon are a super cool couple and had a totally beautiful wedding at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel. The ceremony had to be moved inside due to the rain but that didn’t dampen the mood! Everyone was so excited and the ballroom actually transformed beautifully into the ceremony location thanks to Sunny from White Lilac and Jeannie from Details Details (awesome planner). After the ceremony there was a window of great weather so Victor Sizemore and I were able to get some really killer shots outside. Then it was on to the reception where… can I just say… these people know how to party!!!

Leyla & Brian- Strawberry Farms

Leyla and Brian had a reaffirmation of their wedding vows at San Antonio Catholic Church in Anaheim and a wedding reception at Strawberry Farms Golf Club. Their beautiful son Caleb looked smashing in a tux! With the famous red barn, we wanted it to be sweet, charming and well suited for the space. We started off with the pre-selected colors of the bridesmaids dress, lilac and built the wedding around Leyla’s love for purples. Adding in grapes and countryside elements of antiqued urns, were perfectly for the barn. We spiced it up with a white dance floor, which has never been done before at that venue but Signature Party Rentals figured out the mechanics as the existing dance floor can’t be removed.

Shawna from Shawna Yamamoto Floral Design put together the perfect combinations of flowers, sweet peas, roses, orchids, hints of calla lily and stephanotis. The gorgeous letterpressed invitations were custom designed by Nichelle of Details a la Carte. And last but not least, the amazing Jim Kennedy, who is gracious, accommodating, not afraid to get wet took amazing photos, rain or shine, he’s got a warm smile. Adored the photo of them under the umbrella!
