Thanks to their friend Gary, at Perfectfitstudios.com 310-876-2803 for creating this video for them, and he did it fast. We got to see this in just a few weeks! She emailed me while she was on her honeymoon that the video was up.

Audrey & Mike share a love for travel & beautiful places. At their wedding at the Ritz Carlton, Liguna Niguel guests enjoyed the little touches that made their wedding like a vacation getaway. The wedding programs were customized to look like passports, and guests were assigned table numbers with names such as Tuscany, Kauai, St. Martin, and Rome. The wedding had a tropical vibe with bright pink and green orchids created by Nisie’s Enchanted, views of the Pacific Ocean from The Gazebo Lawn at the Ritz, and even escort cards tied onto starfish. The decor not only had a tropical feel, but also a glamorous feel with hanging crystal strands on the aisles and hanging from tree branches. Audrey had some crystal embellishments on her wedding gown and wrapped around her bouquet. The wedding linens were provided by Wildflower Linens and photos were captured by Becker at Becker Photography.

Chloe & Troy got married at the Surf and Sand Resort & Spa in beautiful Laguna Beach overlooking the water. A family friend of the couple did the florals, which looked nice and cheery on the warm day. I love the bridesmaids colorfull shoes to go with those bright blue dresses. Jim Kennedy took the photos of the happy coulple. It was a real pleasure to work closely with Chole’s mother, Lisa, she was a joy in the planning process.

I found Noaki Jewerly through a photo shoot off of one of my favorite blog sites, Style Me Pretty, and was instantly intrigued. Noaki Jewelry defines her style as “resurrecting Great Gatsby era glamour”, which is visable through her creations. Noaki Jewelry specializes in necklaces, bracelets, earrings, hair jewelry, and wedding pieces. Designer, Noaki, will also create custom designs, which are great for bridal parties or brides with a particular vision in mind. One of my favorite pieces was the jeweled bouquet she created for the photo shoot on Stlye Me Pretty…just stunning!

Aubrey & Jordan are getting married this summer and are using one of their engagment photos for their “Save the Date” cards. I have to admit that all of these photos make me excited for the summer time! The engament shoot took place in Santa Monica, Samuel Lippke did another fabulous job of capturing Aubrey & Jordan’s love and spirit. My best friend Grace found her John…my hubby is John too. I am so happy for her…here’s a little part of my toast “As I was preparing for this toast, I thought a lot about the past 15 years. But I received a card from Grace the other day and a lot of what she wrote, sums things up nicely. Grace writes: I was looking at old pictures of us, pretty crazy we’ve been friends for a long time. I always tell people that from the outside we’re pretty different. I remember I would roll out of bed 15 minutes before our Political Science class, while you prepped and primped and got ready an hour ahead of time. But on the inside I think we really match. I love our balance, I love how I don’t have to say anything, and you already get it. I love how there is an understanding without being gushy. That we will always be there for each other. I love how you are family to me. Thank you for always sticking up for me. No matter what age we are, we’ll always be 18!

Congrats to Grace and John who were married at Mariner’s Chapel and had their reception at the Resort at Pelican Hill. Thanks to White Lilac for the beautiful bouquets, it’s been a LONG time since I had to hold one.

I think these pieces are great because you can dress them up or dress them down. The necklaces would be a cute jewelry gift for a bridal party. We are so excited, this was featured on Style Me Pretty (www.stylemepretty.com) today!  Thanks Abby!  I titled it shower with love, as I am the Matron of Honor for Grace’s wedding.  I really wanted her to have a beautiful shower, something that was completely her style…cute and pretty, soft and sweet.  I got cake stands from William’s Sonoma in pink and yellow and filled them with cupcakes.  Cupcakes were customized with baby sugar flowers.  The empty cupcake boxes were placed into fabric bags that I made, placed at each seat.  Then at the end, everyone could fill up their box with their favorite flavor.  I think choclate with vanilla frosting and white chocolate sprinkles was the most popular.  Fresh, soft, happy colors…Grace loves pink.  We paired it with the color butter as the patio has yellow tones.  Grace and I would make flower pens during college, so I thought it would be fun to remind her of those times, since we needed pens for Grace’s letter.  A letter that each guest would fill out of their memories of Grace (later to be scrap booked).  I bought mini vases from a craft store and had a local florist (got to give credit to Rick from White Lilac) to fill them with peonies, tulips, garden roses and sweet peas.  They were scattered down the center of the table, lined by a light pink silk dupioni runner.  Glass bottles from Anthropology, which I borrowed, added to the garden like setting.  Fun, bold cocktail rings were also another party favor…embedded into flower pots and green lily stands.  All the girls had fun picking their ring!  Thanks to Nichelle who made all the paper goods, from the adorable invite, to the menu card, even the welcome straw tags.
