Jennifer and Josh, back in California
Since Jennifer and Josh’s wedding, I have been craving the song California by Phantom Planet…and lol and behold, it’s the song on the slideshow Ben created for them. It was their last dance song and what a way to end a wonderful night. Jennifer, originally from Michigan but lived in California for awhile with Josh but now back home. Had to come back for beautiful weather and scenery at the St. Regis. The wedding was emotional, love the photos of dad and Jennifer (see slideshow)….and there were lots of details, surprises. Oil painter to capture the ceremony…which was blogged earlier. The wedding was soft, romantic and truly classy. A Carolina Herrera wedding gown defined the rest of the wedding…very east coast, but modern colors, NAVY and Light pink. Flirty navy organza ruffle overlays and chair skirts were custom made for this event..thanks to Mei for figuring out how to dress up the chairs. Shades of pink majolica roses, peonies, tulips, hydrangeas, lithianthus buds, garden roses fill tall silver vessels….these are definitely the right containers for guests to see across the table….traditional elements such as mint julep cups scattered amongst lace beaded votives. White dance floor, white draping takes color well….set the mood for ambient lighting. Late night flips flops for tired feet and tray passed goodies to give people energy. NY Cheesecake lollipops, yummm.
More details and photos to come: Cut artist, morning of wedding group jog, custom t’s, etc.
