Natallie and Amar, Part 1

There were so many great photos that we are doing a two part posting, thanks to Drew B! She writes: What a great way to start wedding season!  Natallie and Amar were married this past Saturday (April 25) at Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach.  Pelican Hill just underwent a 5 year renovation and, wow, it was worth the wait!  The resort is stunning and is built for weddings!  From the gorgeous rotunda that overlooks the ocean to the beautiful bridal suite that is centrally located, no detail was overlooked.  And the staff was so attentive and friendly.  I just have nothing, but good things to say about Pelican Hill!  For those of you who didn’t see their engagement session, Natallie and Amar are from Vancouver (eh?) so this was a destination wedding for them and their guests.  I was a little worried about the weather, but it turned out to be a gorgeous and sunny Southern California day for them!  It goes to show what amazing people Natallie and Amar are because over 150 people came all the way from Canada for their wedding.  That really says a lot!

My burb/post later for part 2.  All of part 1 is ceremony and pre-ceremony.

Sheer Elegance 40′s style

I clicked onto Victor’s blog to see what he posted and he did post a teaser and wrote:

“Saturday I shot Erin and TJ’s wedding at the St. Regis. Here’s a preview of Erin and her style to set the tone for my next post. She designed her own dress to fit a 40s Jazzish feel with a Japanese Kimono influence.”

Believe it or not, this is one of my favorite photos from a short preview…..and the story is that she almost forgot her grandma’s hanky so while Shelly went to go look for it, Victor took a few photos of Erin, and wow! Glad she forgot the hanky!
